It is extremely important to future proof any child's bedroom. Naturally your child is going to grow over the years so it is especially vital to ensure more expensive items will be able to cater for your child's growth. For example, while a small boat bed may be extremely cute, if it is only four foot long it is likely that your child will outgrow it in a few years, hence buying a large enough bed, or wardrobes with enough space for all the accumulated clothes is essential.
Decorating kids rooms can be fraught with tension if you don't handle it properly so if you don't have a preference over the best way to handle this, (providing you don't have more than 2 children) it may be an idea to simply flip a coin in the air and have the kids call out what they want. If you have more than 2 kids, another way to handle it is to tackle the whole decorating process of their rooms at once instead of one by one. Having said that, if this feels like simply too much mess for you, agree with the kids which days will be spent decorating each room and what will be achieved on each of those days so that they can see you sticking to a plan and know that each of them is having the same amount of time and money spent on their room.
Paint the room a wonderful, dreamy color. Soothing apple greens, blues, and soft yellows are fantastic for a babies ones relaxing spot. Painting a room makes a dramatic transformation and is not high-priced when you do it yourself. Keep in mind, elegance is all about you, so secure the colour charts and be bold. Paint the room a new, neutral color. The fresh paint will immediately freshen and fill in the room and a sunny cream or a warm beige color is a lovely conditions for any interior decoration. Kids make messes, and these invariably end up on the wall so you want a wall surface that is not going to present a disaster if it gets dirty. A semi-gloss paint is great as it is certainly cleaned with a soapy cloth.
