Although the rug is what you see on the surface, there is much more that goes into the actual installation process. As you can imagine, a rug is not simply laid on top of the concrete or wood that is already in place. While this could be done, it is not something that you want to do if you want the job completed the right way. When it comes down to it, the rug pad that is used is just as important as what you see on the surface. If the correct rug pad is used, you will recognize this in a number of different ways. Of course, if the rug pad is left out, or a low quality option is used, you are going to notice this as well; just not in the same way.

Mirrors are a great and often very inexpensive way of really making a definite statement in any room. Use them creatively and your home will look stunning. Adding a simple mirror to any dark corners is a great idea that can enhance a dull and boring wall. One really great idea is to take round framed mirrors of different sizes and randomly place them on the darkest wall of the dark corner and then just stand back and admire the amazing transformation of your room.

The back of the rug, or the knots, as well as the foundation, need to be protected as best as possible. There are rug pads with holes in them and solid rug pads. In this case, the solid on is best. Moving a step ahead, a solid pad with some sort of texture on the surface is even better. This texture can safely grab your antique rug and keep it from crawling, hence reducing wear.

Basically it's what you commonly think of as stuffing; the stuff that they put inside stuffed animals and pillows. It's pros contain that it's inexpensive and can be found almost anywhere. Those are two very important features. The one con that I can think of off the top of my head is that it's sometimes hard to get it stuffed in evenly. It's sometimes thinner in a certain place than it is in the rest of the pillow. Or several lumps and bumps throughout. But practice does make better, that's for sure. You can also control the firmness of the pillow. That's another pro. Plus, you can make the pillows in absolutely any size you want. That's just that much more control. With a form, you can only make a pillow in the sizes that they offer the form.
