By starting with the walls, you can set the mood and basic style for the rest of the room. Choose to paint the walls with bright colors such as red, blue and yellow, adding stenciled pictures to the walls. For a small girl, consider painting the walls a pastel shade of pink, adding a wide border around the top of the wall with wall paper, and then place a mural on the wall that fits the theme. A pastel pony or delicate flowers add punch and make the room unique.

Now there are all kinds of kids novelty pillows available so they can sleep with their favorite cartoon character or TV hero, adding to their sense of comfort and security throughout the night. Kids, however, are not the only ones who have a favorite pillow. Most families know that each family member will claim a pillow on the bed or on the couch and claim it as theirs! Those pillows just seem to fit them in all the right places to add to their sense of well-being and comfort.

In a home built with traditional, symmetrically lined wall features, you can use decorative features to add style and interest to the space. Exotic colors, patterns, and even textures can go a long way toward making the space seem interesting, without disrupting the sense of unity which this architectural choice makes inherent. If your home has contemporary walls, scattered at random intervals lightly throughout the space, consider using a single color or pattern to bring unity to the area. Even if you can't help but change up the tones on the various walls, you should at least use a unifying factor, such as a single type of decorative piece, or a single color used on all of the trim and molding. This will ensure that the space doesn't get too disparate.

Laces, tassels, and other various forms of ornamentation often adorn stately valances and flowing drapes. Scalloped sheer fabrics and sometimes lace are common. The trend seems to be that the focal point is the window treatments, not the windows. Alternatively, another beautiful Victorian look requires scrapping the blinds and instead using mosaic stained windows.

The first is a recycled jute pad that is as dense as can be for its kind. This is a 40 ounce weight, which is on the higher quality level of jute pads. This weight means there is a dense compression of fiber per square yard and this is important for protection and resistance. This pad can be used under all antique rugs that do not tend to slide around, mainly room size ones.
