Decorating kids rooms can be fraught with tension if you don't handle it properly so if you don't have a preference over the best way to handle this, (providing you don't have more than 2 children) it may be an idea to simply flip a coin in the air and have the kids call out what they want. If you have more than 2 kids, another way to handle it is to tackle the whole decorating process of their rooms at once instead of one by one. Having said that, if this feels like simply too much mess for you, agree with the kids which days will be spent decorating each room and what will be achieved on each of those days so that they can see you sticking to a plan and know that each of them is having the same amount of time and money spent on their room.

Wall decals are adhesive prints that can be stuck onto the wall and if necessary, removed and swapped out for new wall decals as desired. Like the painting or the photograph, a wall decal can be any number of designs or prints. For example, a wall decal could be a large geometric print. It could be a group of bubbles. It could be a tree or a flower, it could also be a person. Essentially, any graphic that can be made on a computer can be made into a wall decal.

Placed for the security purpose they always served in creating an ideal platform for the romantic twist in it. Watch Bobby yes the superhit Hollywood flick and you would know the best use mirrors can be put to. Mirrors are messengers when you reflect the sunlight in somebody's face and ask them to move out of the library and rather take a lesson in romance. Neolithic mirrors have been discovered, made by grinding down obsidian rocks and polishing them to an incredible sheen. They were then used in India in textiles, crafts and toys as well. Gujrat is the place in India to find beautiful mirror worked dresses. Objects in mirror are closer than they appear, I would rather reframe it and say mirrors in themselves are closer to us than they appear. So, handle them with care.

Let's just say, for the purposes of an example, that I wanted to make a throw pillow that's seven inches square. Now you need to add a half inch to each side (in other words, a whole inch.) That's the size you'll end up cutting your fabric. Mine will end up being eight inches. That gives you enough room to sew around the edges. Cut two pieces of fabric in this size, then place the two right sides together. Pin one side, making sure that the two pieces are secure. Then, using a basic running stitch, sew to the other end one half inch from the edge. Backstitch a few times before ending with a knot. Continue this around two of the other sides, leaving one side open.

Many well constructed items of furniture or accessories are available as kids grow, and you can take them and remake them into your own with a little paint and adding some other items. Let your child help pick the accessories and also help with the painting; when a child is involved in this process, he will have more of a sense of ownership and will keep the room cleaner. If you don't want to paint a room, consider the use of wall hangings. You can really personalize a room by framing and hanging works of art that your child has done. Old refrigerator art work can be spruced up and matted for beautiful displays. Place them in groups by age done or subject and they make lovely groupings. Even if a child objects to this, they are secretly pleased that their efforts are appreciated. This is another way of involving your kids, spending quality time with them and also makes the decorating project fun and interesting for both of you.

Consider changing out a few for the season (not necessarily to fall-themed decor), with items you love, but might be storing away because don't have room to showcase year-round. Swap out accessories on your bookcases, coffee tables and sofa tables to create an instant new look. If you have a large art collection, consider changing out the main art in your rooms so you can enjoy your often-seen pieces.

When you use a number of framed mirrors or on the same wall you can use their shapes and sizes to build a pattern either across the entire wall or indeed concentrate them in one place either effect is stunning. In the bedroom or hallway a wonderful way to add to the décor is to use a floor mirror, these flexible mirrors just simply lean against the wall and can be used to add drama to a small hallway or make a dark bedroom come alive in daylight or if you shine some spotlights onto it sparkle at any time of the day.
